The Boise area is full of fun activities.  The hotels listed are in two areas near the wedding site: Boise and Meridian.

Downtown Boise is the metropolitan area with surrounding foothills.  The foothills are full of trails for hiking, including a trail to beautiful Table Rock which overlooks the entire valley.  The parking area for the trail to Table Rock is near the historic Penitentiary off of Warm Springs Ave.  Click here for more information about both areas as well as a list of ten fun, inexpensive activities to do in or near downtown Boise. 

The Grove Hotel is in the heart of downtown, near the 8th Street Marketplace.  The 8th Street Marketplace area hosts a Farmer's Market every Saturday and Sunday morning.  This area is also full of restaurants, shops and a movie theater.  

Meridian is a suburb of Boise. Meridian has several large shopping centers and is close to the Boise Towne Square Mall.  Also, Meridian has a lot of fun family entertainment centers.  Less than a mile from the Country Inn and Suites Hotel is The Village At Meridian.  It is a brand new shopping area with a Big Al's, which has bowling, food, pool tables and a large arcade.  Meridian also offers Roaring Springs waterpark and Wahooz family fun center which includes a miniature golf course, batting cages, go-karts, laser tag and more.
